Jaden Schwartz News

Schwartz has been out since February 12th but it looks like he could play Friday in San Jose. Schwartz has spent the majority of the season on Brayden Schenn's wing, so that seems like the likely spot for him to skate on Friday. He has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 14 games this season.

Schwartz will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury, so Mike Hoffman will continue to skate with Brayden Schenn and Jordan Kyrou. Schwartz is listed as day-to-day.

Schwartz will play for the first time since November 16th. Schwartz, who has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 15 games, will start on the second line with Brayden Schenn and David Perron tonight.

Schwartz has been out since November 16th and will miss his 11th straight game with an upper-body ailment. Schwartz remains day-to-day so monitor his status as the Blues head into next Tuesday’s home-game vs. the Panthers.

Schwartz has been out since November 16th and remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Schwartz was recently joined by Alex Steen and Robby Fabbri as injured Blues forwards, so Jordan Nolan and Jordan Kyrou were called up from San Antonio (AHL).

Schwartz was already ruled out for the rest of the week, so moving him to IR simply opens up a roster spot to activate Patrick Maroon from IR for Friday’s game.

Schwartz missed Saturday’s game in San Jose and will miss this entire week with an upper-body injury. Head coach Mike Yeo ruled Schwartz out for at least the next four games, so monitor his status as the Blues head into next week.

Schwartz missed the Blues last two games with a lower-body injury, but was back on the ice for Tuesday’s practice. Schwartz skated in his regular spot on the Blues’ second line and power-play, suggesting that he will play on Wednesday. Schwartz has registered two assists and seven shots on goal in three games this season.

There’s no word what kind of lower-body injury Schwartz is dealing with, but he did take a Vladimir Tarasenko shot off of the foot on Thursday. With Schwartz likely out, Samuel Blais skated on the second line during Friday’s practice.

Schwartz, who has been sidelined since December 9th, has been medically cleared to return and it looks like he’ll be back on Thursday. The Blues have gone 8-10-1 while averaging just 2.16 goals per game since Schwartz was sidelined.

Schwartz was held off of the ice on Monday because of a bout of food poisoning. Lucky for Schwartz owners, the Blues are off until Wednesday so there’s a chance that he won’t miss any games. Monitor his status before Wednesday’s contest.

Schwartz missed Sunday's practice with an illness, but is expected to play in the Winter Classic vs. the Blackhawks. Schwartz is expected to skate on a line with Jori Lehtera and Vladimir Tarasenko and comes in with 12 goals and nine assists (21 points) in 33 games.
