The Bruins signed James Hagens to an AHL amateur tryout agreement (ATO) and report to the Providence Bruins.
Hagens was the Bruins' first-round pick (No.7 overall) in 2025 and their No.1 ranked prospect. Hagens just wrapped up his second season at Boston College, where he had 23 goals and 24 assists (47 points) in 34 games and was named a Hobey Baker finalist. Hagens will spend the rest of the 2025-26 season in the AHL and will likely sign his entry-level contract in the summer and make a push for the Bruins' roster next fall.
