Hansen missed the Canucks final game before the Christmas break and will miss at least one month with a knee injury that he suffered last Thursday. Hansen previously missed 16 games this season and the injury bug has bit the Canucks’ top-line winger yet again.

The Maple Leafs have placed Jannik Hansen (undisclosed) on injured reserve.
Hansen was injured on a hit during the Canucks’ physical contest in Toronto on Saturday. Hansen’s move to IR means that he will miss at least the next three games with an undisclosed injury. Hansen had been playing with the Sedin Twins, so his injury should see Loui Eriksson move back up.

Hansen was expected to be in the lineup last night, but he ended up being held out of the lineup. He underwent a few more tests on Tuesday and has been cleared to return to the lineup on Sunday in Anaheim.
