Gibson played well on Tuesday, saving 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%), but as has been the case most of the season, did not receive ample goal support as the Ducks fell 3-1 to the Vancouver Canucks. The Ducks have been trending in the worst direction lately, losing seven consecutive contests and being held to two or fewer goals in six of them. The Ducks will have one of their best chances to break out of their funk on Thursday as +113 home underdogs against a Washington Capitals team that played last night and ranks second-worst in the league offensively (2.32 GF / GP).

Gibson will get the start on Tuesday after Lukas Dostal got the nod in Sunday's 8-2 defeat at the hands of the Oilers. Gibson is looking to snap a personal four-game losing streak, with his last victory coming on November 14th against the Predators. After a strong start to the season, Gibson's record has fallen to 4-8-0, but he still boasts a respectable .911 SV%. He draws another tough matchup on Tuesday with the Ducks being +200 underdogs in Vancouver.

After an early-season stretch that saw the Ducks evenly splitting time between Gibson and Lukas Dostal, Gibson will start for the fifth time in the team's last six games. It's no surprise Gibson has taken control over the Ducks' crease as the 30-year-old goaltender has been tremendous this season, highlighted by allowing only 11 goals in his last six appearances (3-3-0) along with a .942 SV%. The Ducks are slight -111 home favourites against a Montreal Canadiens team that has scored two or fewer goals in three of their last four games (0-4-0).

Gibson has played tremendously of late but will be seriously put to the test on Friday against the Florida Panthers. In his last four games (3-1-0), Gibson has been brilliant, saving 118 of 124 shots (.952 SV%), his best stretch of play this season. That said, the Ducks, who will be without Trevor Zegras and Leo Carlsson, are +149 home underdogs against a Panthers team that, despite losing 2-1 to the Los Angeles Kings last night, has won five of their last six games (5-1-0).

Gibson will start for the second consecutive game on Tuesday when the Ducks take on the Nashville Predators. Gibson has been stellar in November, saving 89 of 93 shots (.957 SV%) in three games (2-1-0) and, on the season, is currently matching his career-best save percentage set in the 2017-18 season (.926). The Ducks are rolling lately, winning seven of their last nine games (7-2-0), but are +154 road underdogs against a Predators team that has lost three straight (0-3-0), being outscored 17-10.

Gibson will reclaim his spot between the pipes on Sunday after Lukas Dostal got the nod against the Flyers on Friday. Gibson will be happy to draw a favourable home matchup on Sunday given how hard-pressed his luck has been on the year to date. The 30-year-old netminder owns a 2-4-0 record despite posting an impressive .921 SV% and a 2.41 GAA. Gibson and the Ducks are sizable favourites at -190 to pick up the victory over the Sharks, though they will have to find a way to get the puck passed a red-hot Mackenzie Blackwood.

Gibson returned from an upper-body injury on Sunday and saved 30 of 32 shots en route to defeating the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2, their first regulation loss of the season. The Ducks were mostly rotating starts between Gibson and Lukas Dostal but will reward Gibson with his first consecutive start of the season after his mighty performance on Sunday. The Ducks are +170 home underdogs against a Pittsburgh Penguins team that has lost five of their last seven games (2-5-0). On October 30th, Gibson saved six of seven shots against the Penguins before exiting the game with an injury, a game that the Ducks ultimately won 4-3.

Gibson was injured against the Pittsburgh Penguins after making a heroic save on Sidney Crosby late in the first period and will be out indefinitely. Gibson has a 2.82 GAA and .902 SV% in five games (1-3-0) and has been alternating starts with Lukas Dostal, who should see the majority of action while Gibson is sidelined.

Gibson will start for the Ducks on Monday as Greg Cronin and the coaching staff seem intent on continuing their even rotation between him and Lukas Dostal. Thus far, Dostal has outperformed Gibson but even so, Gibson has put together a respectable 2.81 GAA and .905 SV% through four games (1-3-0), both better totals than he has amassed in the past five seasons. Gibson and the Ducks will try to hold things together defensively as +211 road underdogs against a Pittsburgh Penguins team that is 3-5-0 this season.

Gibson has stopped 55 of the 61 shots he's faced through 2 games and has an 0-2-0 record to go along with a 3.06 GAA to show for it. He'll be in tough to pick up his first win of the season tonight against the Bruins.

After serving as backup and watching Lukas Dostal save 32 of 35 shots for the Ducks first victory of the season, Gibson will be back between the pipes on Thursday night. Gibson played well in his only game this season, saving 34 of 37 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Despite strong showings against the Dallas Stars last season, Gibson and the Ducks will be put to the test as +227 road underdogs. In his two meetings against the Stars last season (1-0-1), Gibson has a 0.96 GAA and .974 SV%.

It was the third time in four years that Gibson led the NHL in losses but the first time he allowed over 200 goals in a season. The Ducks should be a little better in front of him this season, but he remains a low-end fantasy option on most nights. Tonight he faces the Golden Knights, who he was 1-2-0 with a 4.75 GAA and .880 SV% last year.
