Marchessault is expected to miss Tuesday's game vs. the Hurricanes after being placed in COVID-19 protocol, one day after William Carrier was. With Marchessault out, the Golden Knights will be without Marchessault, William Karlsson, Max Pacioretty, Jack Eichel and Nolan Patrick up front.




Marchessault has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but head coach Gerard Gallant thinks he's back tonight. Marchessault is fourth on the team in goals (15) and fifth in points (31) in 43 games.


Marchessault was on the ice for the morning skate but head coach Gerard Gallant said he is “doubtful but I don’t want to say no.” Expect Marchessault to miss his fifth straight game on Saturday.

Marchessault was not on the ice for Thursday's morning skate and will not be available against the Kings. With Marchessault still out, the Golden Knights are expected to keep Chandler Stephenson on the William Karlsson line and Paul Stastny between Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone.


Marchessault has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but could play Tuesday vs. the Penguins. Monitor his status as the Golden Knights hit the ice for warmups at 9:30 pm ET.
