ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Detroit Red Wings goaltender Joey MacDonald experienced some back spams following Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Anaheim Ducks, prompting the club to recall Jordan Pearce from the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Pearce is not expected to see any game action. The rookie has no fantasy hockey value.
