Ottawa has signed Josh Currie to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.

Currie had three goals, nine assists, four PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 48 games with Metallurg (KHL) and has signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with Ottawa. The 30-year-old centre has spent his last two seasons in the KHL but brings two goals, five points and 22 games experience to the Senators.

The Penguins have signed Josh Currie to a one-year, two-way deal.

After a 21-game stint with the Oilers in 2019, Currie spent all of 2020 in the AHL. He finished the season with a team-high in goals (24) and points (41) and will head to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) to start 2021.

The Oilers have recalled Josh Currie from Bakersfield (AHL).

Currie has registered 24 goals and 13 assists (37 points) in 49 games with Bakersfield this season. The 26-year-old undrafted free-agent could make his NHL debut on Tuesday after earning a call-up following 154 career ECHL games and 237 AHL games since 2014.
