The Penguins have acquired Kevin Roy from the Panthers for Ryan Haggerty.

Roy was originally a fourth-round pick of the Ducks but signed with the Panthers this July. The 26-year-old left-winger has 28 games of NHL experience and has scored four goals with 10 assists (14 points) in 23 AHL games this season.

The Ducks recalled Kevin Roy from San Diego (AHL) on Wednesday.

Roy, 24, was a fourth round pick in 2012 and gets called up after leading San Diego in points (4G / 7A) through his first 10 games of the season. With Ryan Getzlaf, Ryan Kesler and Patrick Eaves all out, the Ducks are in need of forwards that can produce offence.

The Devils has activated Sergey Kalinin (undisclosed) from IR; will play Saturday.

Kalinin has missed the first four games of the season with an undisclosed injury, but will make his season debut tonight vs. the Wild. With Kalinin healthy, the Devils have reassigned Miles Wood to Albany (AHL).

The Devils signed Sergey Kalinin to a one-year deal worth $800K.

Kalinin, 25, recorded 15 points (8G / 7A) in 78 games in his first NHL season after playing five seasons in KHL before hand. Kalinin is a big centre (6’3” / 200 lbs) who should find himself in a third line role in 2016-17.
