Vlasic has missed the last seven games but “is an option” to play Monday in Florida. Vlasic’s return would be key with Erik Karlsson out for a second-straight game.

Vlasic remained off of the ice during Monday’s morning skate and will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury. The Sharks did just fine without Vlasic vs. the No.1 team in the NHL over the weekend so expect them to be patient with Vlasic.

Head coach Pete DeBoer said that Vlasic will not play Saturday but did not give a reason why. Tonight’s matchup with the high-powered Lightning will be tough without Vlasic, Justin Braun or Radim Simek.

Vlasic missed Saturday’s game vs. the Ducks, but is expected to play tonight vs. the Lightning. Vlasic will replace Dylan DeMelo in the lineup and enters play with one goal and three assists (four points) in 12 games this season.

Vlasic missed Friday’s practice and will not play with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Wednesday. With Vlasic out, Dylan DeMelo will draw into the lineup and play on a pairing with Tim Heed.

Vlasic suffered an injury after being hit by Predators forward Ryan Johansen during Wednesday’s win. The early prognosis is positive as it looks like Vlasic won’t be out long-term. Monitor his status during Saturday’s morning skate.

Vlasic is viewed as one of the best two-way defensemen in the NHL, but failed to top 30 points in 2016-17 after setting a career-high with 39 points (8G / 31A) the year before. The 30-year-old will likely be a top-25 fantasy defenseman in 2017-18, but the length of this deal could hurt the Sharks’ cap situation down the line.

Vlasic missed Saturday’s game in Nashville, but will return tonight vs. the Rangers. Regarded as one of the best two-way defensemen in the NHL, Vlasic has recorded 22 points (5G / 17A) in 68 games this season while playing a shutdown role for San Jose.

Vlasic has missed the last four games with a face injury, but will travel to Edmonton for Tuesday’s game. He is listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status during the morning skate.

Vlasic was hit in the face with a shot last Friday and was placed on IR yesterday so they could recall Mirco Mueller from San Jose (AHL). Vlasic is expected to miss at least the next two games, but should be able to return shortly after that.

Vlasic missed last night's game in Toronto because of a lower-body injury, but is reportedly feeling better today and is listed as game-time decision. If Vlasic is able to play, expect him to replace Dylan DeMelo in the lineup.

Vlasic has been out since March 17th with a lower-body injury, but he will return just in time for Game one of the playoffs. Vlasic is an excellent two-way defenseman, who picked up 39 points (8G / 31A) in 67 games this season. Look for him to be reunited with Justin Braun.

Vlasic will miss his third straight game on Tuesday and is expected to miss at least 3-5 more games with with a lower-body injury. With Vlasic sidelined, Dylan DeMelo will remain in the Sharks lineup.
