Hrivik, 26, has recorded 10 goals and 19 assists (29 points) in 28 games with Stockton this season. The former Ranger has just three assists in 21 career NHL games. He will take Freddie Hamilton’s spot on the Flames roster.


Hrivik, 25, had two assists in 16 games with the Rangers, but with Mika Zibanejad set to return on Tuesday, Hrivik was placed on waivers on Sunday. To the surprise of many, Hrivik went unclaimed, so he returns to Hartford, where he has eight goals and nine assists (17 points) in 20 games.

Hrivik has appeared in 16 games with the Rangers this season, but will come out of the lineup tonight with both Rick Nash and Pavel Buchnevich returning to the lineup tonight, Hrivik will be scratched and could be sent back to the AHL soon enough.

Hrivik, 25, has collected eight goals and nine assists (17 points) in 20 games this season. The 25-year-old winger has one assist in five career NHL games and he could make his season debut this week.

Hrivik, 24, spent most of the 2015-16 season with Hartford (AHL), where he had 41 points (12G / 29A) in 68 games. He also appeared in his first five NHL games, where he had one assist. Hrivik will fight for a roster spot during training camp, but will likely start the year back in Hartford.
