Mathieu Perreault News

Perreault (arm) returned to Jets practice on Monday.

Perreault has missed the last two games with an arm injury that he suffered on January 16th vs. the Blackhawks. His return to practice this afternoon suggests that he could play on Tuesday. Monitor his status during Tuesday’s morning skate.

Perreault (arm) has no fracture, but is expected to miss a few games.

Perreault was buried by a cross-check from Blackhawks forward Daniel Carcillo last night. He left the game and did not return. The good news is that he has no fracture, the bad news is that he is going to miss a few games with an arm injury.

Perreault left Friday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Perreault was injured when he was cross-checked by Blackhawks forward Daniel Carcillo midway through the second period. The Jets are off on Saturday, so we likely won’t have an update on Perreault’s status until Sunday’s morning skate in advance of their game against the Coyotes.

The Jets have signed Mathieu Perreault to a three-year deal worth $9 million.

Perreault, 26, is under-sized at 5-foot-10, but has been a steady offensive producer over the last three seasons. He had 18 goals and 25 assists (43 points) in 69 games with the Ducks and should be in the Jets top-6, likely playing with Blake Wheeler.

Perreault (lower-body) says "he is good to go" in game 5.

Perreault missed game 4 with a lower-body injury, but it sounds like he will be available back in Anaheim tonight. Perreault has two goals, two assists and a minus-2 rating in eight games this postseason. Expect him to skate on a line with Patrick Maroon and Teemu Selanne.

Perreault (upper-body) returned to Ducks' practice on Sunday.

Perreault has missed the past three games with an upper-body injury. Perreault and Rickard Rakell took turns centering a line with Patrick Maroon and Teemu Selanne. “He’s progressing a lot quicker than we thought he would,” said Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau of Perreault. “I think sometime this week he’ll be playing.”

An optional skate this morning but looks like Perreault back centering Emerson Etem and Teemu Selanne.

Perreault returned to the lineup on Monday, after missing a game with an illness, but in a third-line capacity. In practice this morning it appears as if he will return to the second line for tonight's matchup with the Devils. After 14 points in his first 15 games, Perrault has failed to register a point in his last six games.
