Foligno (neck) hopes to play Friday.

Foligno was on the ice for the Blue Jackets practice this morning and took line rushes, which is a good sign that he could be available on Friday. This would be rather impressive considering he was stretchered off of the ice less than a week ago. His return would definitely help an extremely depleted Blue Jackets lineup.

Foligno (head/neck) is day-to-day, avoided serious injury.

Foligno was knocked out in a collision with the linesman on Sunday night and had to be stretchered off of the ice. He said that he had lost feeling in the one side of his body but it came back quickly. He underwent an MRI and X-rays on Monday and everything came back negative. He was diagnosed with a "stinger" and is day-to-day.

Foligno (head) was stretchered off of the ice on Sunday.

Foligno's head collided with a linesman's body when he was rubbed out by Jeff Carter in Sunday's game. Foligno was laying facedown on the ice and had to be stretchered off. It was a scary scene and likely an injury that will sideline Foligno for a lengthy period of time.
