Leddy (upper-body) practiced on Saturday; could return to the lineup on Sunday.

Leddy missed Friday’s game with an upper-body injury, but he got through Saturday’s practice without a hitch and appears good-to-go for Sunday’s game. He would re-claim his spot from Ryan Pulock, who is now out for at least one month with a broken foot.

Leddy (upper-body) is day-to-day; questionable for Friday's game.

Leddy missed Thursday's practice with an upper-body injury that he likely suffered on Tuesday vs. the Sharks. With Leddy questionable, the Islanders recalled Ryan Pulock from Bridgeport (AHL) and he will take Leddy's spot in the lineup should he be unable to play tomorrow.

Leddy could miss two weeks with an upper-body injury.

The Islanders do not practice until tomorrow, so they likely won’t confirmed the report until tomorrow. If he misses two weeks, he would miss about five games, which isn’t too bad. Expect Brian Strait to have a permanent spot on the Isles’ blue line with Leddy out.

Leddy (lower-body) is questionable for Tuesday's game.

Leddy left Monday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return. With back-to-back games, Leddy’s status for tonight’s game is uncertain. Head coach Jack Capuano said he had “no idea” if Leddy will play tonight. Expect a an update a few hours before puck-drop.

The Islanders have acquired Nick Leddy and Kent Simpson from the Blackhawks for TJ Brennan, Ville Pokka and goaltender Anders Nilsson.

Leddy, 23, had seven goals with 24 assists (31 points) in 82 games with the Blackhawks last season. Leddy has never missed a regular season game in three NHL seasons and should be in the Isles' top-4 with a lot of power-play time.

#Blackhawks coach Joel Quenenville said defensive pairings to start will include Hjalmarsson playing with Seabrook and Keith with Leddy.

Leddy will start the season on the top defensive unit. Last season he scored four goals and seven points over 46 games with the Blackhawks. Look for him to improve his totals in his sophomore season.
