Paquette missed Monday’s game in Nashville after getting hurt late in Saturday’s game in Philadelphia. Paquette, who has just four points (3G / 1A) in 20 games this season, averaging just 11:35 TOI/gm. He will replace Danick Martel on the fourth line.

Paquette has been sidelined by a lower-body injury since October 17th, but he is very close to return to the Lightning lineup. The 24-year-old will be a game-time decision vs. Chicago and comes into tonight with one assist in six games this season.

Paquette is dealing with a lower-body injury and puts his status for tonight’s game in question. The bottom-6 forward has just one assist and two shots on goal in six games this season—stay away from him in fantasy circles.

Paquette will miss tonight’s game with an undisclosed injury, but head coach Jon Cooper said that he doesn’t “see [it] as a long term thing.” With Paquette out, Gabriel Dumont will draw into the Lightning lineup.

The Capitals have recalled Paul Carey from Hershey (AHL).

Carey has been recalled to serve as an extra forward during the Capitals’ upcoming road trip. The 28-year-old has had a great season in Hershey, having collected 24 goals and 31 assists (55 points) in 55 games this season. He hasn’t been able to translate that into NHL success—he has just two points (1G / 1A) in 30 career NHL games.

Paquette did not travel on the Lightning’s two-game road trip, so he won’t play Monday or Tuesday. There has been no update on the severity of Paquette’s injury, so monitor his status leading up to Thursday’s home game vs. the Maple Leafs.

On Sunday, Liam O’Brien was recalled to replace T.J. Oshie on Monday and now Carey has been called up because Tom Wilson is questionable to play vs. Montreal. Carey has picked up 10 goals and 15 assists (25 points) in 28 games with Hershey this season.
