Wotherspoon has been recalled from Utica (AHL) on Tuesday.

Wotherspoon was recalled last week in correspondence to Jonas Seaganthaler (concussion) being out indefinitely but did not draw into the lineup. The 31-year-old defenseman makes a great story as his last NHL appearance was in 2016-17 with Calgary. He succeeded on Utica's back-end so far this season, with four goals, 19 points, 18 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 54 games played.

Tyler Wotherspoon has been recalled from Utica Comets (AHL).

Wotherspoon had one assist and eight PIMs along with a -2 plus/minus rating through 13 games with Utica (AHL) prior to being called up Wednesday. The 29-year-old has played in 30 career NHL games prior to this season, picking up five assists and a -8 plus/minus.

The Islanders have signed Paul LaDue to a one-year, two-way contract.

LaDue is a depth signing for the Islanders, who will start the 2021-22 season in the AHL. He has 18 points (5G / 13A) in 69 career NHL games with the Kings, who drafted him in the sixth-round in 2012.

LaDue is expected to be back in the Kings lineup on Thursday.

LaDue has been a healthy scratch for the last four games, but is expected to replace Derek Forbort in the lineup on Thursday. LaDue has one goal while averaging 11:45 TOI/GM in his first four games of the season.

The Kings have recalled Paul LaDue from Ontario (AHL).

LaDue played 22 games with the Kings last season but has yet to appear in an NHL game this year. The 25-year-old defenseman has picked up 17 points (8G / 9A) in 34 games with Ontario and will be looking to pick up his first career NHL goal if he draws into the Kings lineup for his season debut this week.
