Emery made 21 saves on 25 shots in the Flyers 7-4 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Emery was not at his best, but it was good enough as the offence lit Jonathan Bernier up. Emery has won two games in a row, while Steve Mason has yet to win and holds an ugly .878 SV%. Emery was the first goalie off of the ice at Friday's practice, which is not as good of an indication as the first off at the morning skate, but given he has the hot hand, it looks like the Flyers will go with Emery vs. the Red Wings.

Emery leads the Flyers onto the ice for warmups.

Emery allowed three goals on 38 shots in a loss to the Habs on October 11th; his only start of the season. He recorded a win last Saturday in relief of Steve Mason, but with the Flyers playing their second game in two nights and taking on a great Penguins team, it is hard to have faith in Emery as a reliable spot-start tonight.
