It was reported by multiple sources that Steve Mason would start tonight but now it will be Emery. He allowed four goals on 15 shots in a relief effort last night. Emery has yet to win a game and has a 5.08 GAA and .846 SV% this season.

Obviously this is speculation at this point in the season but Sam Carchidi's best guess is that Emery would play at most 30 games if Mason has established himself as the primary starter in the Flyers' net. At the very least, you will need to own both Flyers' goalies or try to get whatever value you can for Emery at this point.
Steve Mason did not have a great season opener, so the door is open for Ray Emery to cement himself as the Flyers starter. Emery suffered a lower-body injury on Wednesday. He won't backup Crawford tonight or go on the trip for the season finale tomorrow. He will head into the playoffs as the Blackhawks #2 option. Should Crawford struggle I don't think Joel Quenneville will hesitate to turn to Emery.
