Getting into games prior to the regular season essentially guarantees his health when the season begins. Last season Hemsky was limited to 47 games but performed well with 14 goals and 42 points. Expect him to line up with Taylor Hall and Sam Gagner.
Horcoff was expected to start on the top line but will center two budding youngsters. If healthy, he could produce around 40 points but there should be much better options out there.
Hemsky was planning on getting healthy for the beginning of the season but it appears he will now have a setback. The often-injured winger has missed 105 games over the last three seasons. Expect a winger like Jordan Eberle or Taylor Hall to benefit from his absence.
