Dries has been in the lineup for 11 straight games but will be given the night off on Tuesday. Gabriel Bourque will replace him in Colorado’s bottom-6.

Dries did not pick up a point in four games with the Avalanche earlier in the season, but has two points (1G / 1A) in five AHL games with the Eagles. The 24-year-old will likely play on the upcoming two-game road-trip because the Avalanche are without Tyson Jost, J.T. Compher and Sven Andrighetto.

Dries did not record a point in three games with the Avalanche. He returns to the AHL, where he had 30 points (19G / 11A) in 70 games with the Texas Stars last season.

Dries has averaged just 6:19 TOI/GM in the first three games of the season, but will be a healthy scratch tomorrow. Vladislav Kamenev will replace him vs. the Sabres.
