The Maple Leafs have recalled Teemu Kivihalme from Toronto (AHL).
Kivihalme was a fifth-round pick of the Predators back in 2013 but signed with the Maple Leafs this summer. The 24-year-old defenseman is in his first season in North America and has seven points (3G / 4A) in 28 AHL games this season.

Kivihalme, 23, was originally a fifth-round pick (No.140 overall) in 2013 but played three years at Colorado College (2015 to 2017) before playing two years with Karpat (Finnish Liiga), where he was tied for fifth on the team in assists (21) and seventh in points (30).
