The Sabres reassigned Kuntar to Rochester (AHL) on Saturday.

With Alex Tuch (illness) unavailable, Kuntar will immediately make his NHL debut after signing his first NHL contract earlier on Thursday. Kuntar has appeared in 24 games with Rochester (AHL) this season, registering nine goals and four assists.

Kuntar had 13 goals, 16 assists, 36 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 34 games with Boston College (NCAA) this season and signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Boston Wednesday. The 21-year-old was the Bruins 2020 third-round pick (89th overall).
