The Ducks have placed Troy Terry (upper-body) on IR.

Terry left the Ducks' previous game vs. Dallas after just three shifts and 2:26 TOI due to an upper-body injury and has been placed on injured reserve Friday. It is a tough loss for the Ducks and the 25-year-old as he is second on the team in points with 13 goals and 29 assists through 51 games prior to the injury.

Terry left Monday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Terry suffered an upper-body injury early in Monday's game in Dallas, logging just 2:26 TOI. Ryan Strome moved up to the top line after Terry departed the game, and Brett Leason would likely replace him in the lineup if he's unable to play on Tuesday.

Terry (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

It is unclear when Terry picked up the injury but he is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Blackhawks. Dominik Simon and Zach Aston-Reese will be making their Ducks debuts on Wednesday, so one of them will be replacing Terry in the lineup if he can't play.

Terry (upper-body) is day-to-day and questionable to play Wednesday.

Terry was hurt midway through Monday's game and did not return, playing just 5:19 TOI. Head coach Dallas Eakins said that he is unsure about Terry's availability for Wednesday and that he considers him day-to-day until the medical staff tells him differently. If Terry can't go on Wednesday, look for Danton Heinen to draw back into the lineup.
