Pierre-Olivier Joseph was acquired in a trade to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday, opening up a roster spot on the Blues' blueline, potentially to be filled by Tucker. The 24-year-old Tucket has 52 games of NHL experience but has primarily played in the AHL. He has 10 points (4G / 6A) in 19 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL) this season.

Tucker will play his first game with the Blues since March 5th. The 24-year-old Tucker has two points (1G / 1A) and 41 hits in 18 games this season. The Blues, who have rolled with seven defensemen in recent games, with scratch Matthew Kessel and Scott Perunovich on Monday.

Tucker has played 16 games with the Blues this season, tallying two points (1G / 1A) and 27 penalty minutes but has not played since January 30th, his only contest in the last two months. Tucker will draw into the lineup in favour of Scott Perunovich.

Tucker played 11:50 TOI vs. the Blue Jackets on January 30th and has two points (1G / 1A) in 16 games this season. He'll be replaced by Calle Rosen in the lineup on Saturday.



Tucker will play for only the third time since November 7th and is expected to skate on the Blues third defensive pair with Scott Perunovich. In 10 games this season, the 23-year-old Tucker has two points (1G / 1A), 10 penalty minutes, 11 blocks, and 17 hits.

Tucker suited up for the first time in nine games in St.Louis' previous contest but will head back to the press box as he is a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Minnesota. The 23-year-old had a goal, an assist, eight PIMs and six SOG in nine games played this season will be replaced by Scott Perunovich Tuesday.
