Kreider will be healthy scratch on Monday vs. New Jersey.

The struggling Rangers are desperate for a spark and will scratch Kreider on Monday against the New Jersey Devils. The 33-year-old Kreider scored 206 points (127G / 79A) in 242 games over the previous three seasons but only has 12 points (11G / 1A) in 30 games this season, pacing for the lowest offensive output of his career. Jonny Brodzinski will draw into the lineup on Monday as Kreider's replacement.

Husso has been assigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Husso has been assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), an indication that Cam Talbot (lower body) is likely ready to return to the lineup for the Red Wings. In eight games with the Red Wings things season (1-4-2), Husso struggled with a 3.47 GAA and .877 SV%.

Johnston will draw back into Anaheim's lineup vs. Winnipeg on Wednesday.

Brett Leason will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets, allowing Johnston to re-enter the lineup. The 21-year-old Johnston will return from a one-game absence looking to add to his four points (1G / 3A) through 21 games this season.

Dostal will start vs. Winnipeg on Wednesday.

The Ducks snapped a five-game losing skid in their previous outing, a 4-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets with John Gibson in net, but they will turn to Dostal between the pipes on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 24-year-old Dostal has given the Ducks a chance to win on most nights, posting a solid 2.69 GAA and .920 SV% in 17 games (6-8-3). The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest as +139 home underdogs against a Jets team that played last night, defeating the San Jose Sharks 4-3.

Husso will start vs. Toronto on Saturday.

Cam Talbot was back in the crease on Thursday but tweaked something at practice on Friday and will not be able to play on Saturday. Colangelo was reassigned to San Diego (AHL) on Thursday.

Colangelo was sent down in order to make room on the roster for Robby Fabbri, who was surprisingly activated from injured reserve as he is set to return against the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Colangelo is yet to register a point in eight NHL games this season.

Sam Colangelo
Zellweger is a healthy scratch for Thursday's game in Toronto.

Zellweger was a surprise absence on Thursday and was not announced as a scratch prior to warmups. Jackson Lacombe will draw into the lineup in his place while Pavel Mintyukov will likely fill Zellweger's spot on Anaheim's first power-play unit.

Olen Zellweger
Dostal will start in Toronto on Thursday.

The Ducks will turn to Dostal for the tail-end of their back-to-back in Toronto on Thursday. Dostal is fresh off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Canadiens on Monday when he stopped 19 of the 21 shots he faced. The 24-year-old netminder owns an impressive .921 SV% on the season, but a lack of goal support has left him with an underwhelming 6-7-3 record. He'll have a tough time getting back in the win column on Thursday as the Ducks enter action as +330 underdogs to the Maple Leafs.
