Mrazek will start Monday vs. the Hurricanes.

Harkins has been enjoying an incredible start to his AHL season with Manitoba (AHL), scoring five goals and nine points in the team's first six games prior to his promotion Wednesday. In his 132 career NHL games, he has 22 points (10G/12A) and 24 PIMs.

Ross Johnston will draw back into the Islander lineup Tuesday

It will be the second time Johnston has been asked to answer the bell as the scrappy winger last played on October 23rd vs. the Panthers. Through 119 career games, he has 22 points (9G/13A) and 248 PIMs while mostly occupying a fourth line role in New York.

Mrazek stopped 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) for his first victory of the season in a 5-2 win over the San Jose Sharks his last time out. It has been up and down in two starts for Mrazek, as he holds a .885 SV% and 3.50 GAA through the opening part of the season. The Blackhawks will host the Red Wings Friday who is still yet to lose in regulation after three games (2-0-1) and are averaging 4.0 GF/GP early on.
