Gudas is one of five Panthers that entered COVID-19 protocol this week, putting Thursday's game vs. the Kings in jeopardy.

Dostal served as Anthony Stolarz's backup on Sunday with John Gibson hurt. Returning Dostal to the AHL suggests that Gibson will be available vs. the Kraken on Wednesday.







Johnston has regularly been a healthy scratch, so it's unclear if he will slot back into the lineup after clearing COVID-19 protocol.





McTavish played nine games with the Ducks, so sending him back to the OHL preserves the first year of his entry-level contract. The 18-year-old had two goals and one assist with the Ducks after going No.3 overall in this summer's draft.

Johnston has been a healthy scratch almost all season, so this probably doesn't change his status for this weekend's back-to-back. He joins Josh Bailey and Anders Lee on the protocol list.
