Yaroslav Askarov was excellent on Thursday in his return from a multi-week absence due to a lower-body injury, but he only lasted half the game before exiting with a new, unrelated injury and being replaced by Alex Nedeljkovic. With Askarov sidelined again, Brossoit will be recalled from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL). The 33-year-old Brossoit played one game for the Sharks during his previous call-up, his first NHL action since the 2023-24 season, but struggled in the outing, allowing six goals on 23 shots (.739 SV%).

Terry was a surprise scratch on Thursday, with the Ducks not announcing his absence prior to warmups. Olen Zellweger will take his spot in the lineup as Ian Moore slides up to play forward.

For the third time in the last seven games, the Ducks will turn to Husso to tend the twine when they face the Calgary Flames on Thursday. The 31-year-old Finnish goalie allowed five goals on 29 shots (.828 SV%) in his most recent outing, but salvaged a 6-5 overtime victory over the Buffalo Sabres. He has a 2.81 GAA and .918 SV% in four games this month (2-2-0). The Ducks enter Thursday's contest as -128 road favourites against a Flames team that has been surprisingly competent since losing several key players at the trade deadline, going 6-4-0.

Gaucher was a first-round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft that could be poised to make his NHL debut after being recalled on Thursday. The 22-year-old forward has 26 points (12G / 14A) in 57 games this season with the San Diego Gulls (AHL).

Hamblin is an undrafted 26-year-old forward that has spent most of his career in the AHL. In 54 games this season with the Bakerfield Condors (AHL), Hamblin has 37 points (23G / 14A).

Dostal was excellent in his previous outing, saving 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Utah Mammoth, continuing his winning ways. That said, defensive coverage has been an issue for the Ducks all season, which directly correlates to Dostal's less-than-stellar 3.08 GAA and .884 SV% in March, despite boasting a solid 5-2-1 record. The Ducks enter Tuesday's contest as -178 road favourites against the last-place Vancouver Canucks, who have scored two or fewer goals in five of their last seven games (2-4-1).

With Yaroslav Askarov (lower body) back at practice and seemingly ready to return, the Sharks have reassigned Brossoit to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL). The 33-year-old Brossoit played one game for the Sharks during his call-up, his first NHL action since the 2023-24 season, but struggled in the outing, allowing six goals on 23 shots (.739 SV%).

Mason McTavish will return from a two-game absence, replacing Vatrano on Friday against the Utah Mammoth. The 32-year-old Vatrano is having a miserably season after scoring over 20 goals in his previous three campaigns with the Ducks. He only has eight points (4G / 4A) in 44 games this season.

Dostal was serviceable in Anaheim's previous game, saving 25 of 28 shots (.893 SV%) in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. The 25-year-old Czech goalie has had some difficulties since returning from the Olympic break, allowing three or more goals in seven of nine games, but still boasts an impressive 6-2-1 record despite a less-than-stellar 3.59 GAA and .866 SV%. The Ducks enter Friday's contest as +118 road underdogs against a Mammoth team that played last night in an impressive 4-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Dostal was serviceable in Anaheim's previous game, saving 27 of 30 shots (.900 SV%) in a 4-3 win over the Montreal Canadiens. The 25-year-old Czech goalie has had some difficulties since returning from the Olympic break, allowing three or more goals in six of eight games, but still boasts an impressive 6-2-0 record despite a less-than-stellar 3.67 GAA and .862 SV%. The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest as -153 home favourites against a Philadelphia Flyers team that has scored three or fewer goals in 10 of their last 11 games (6-3-2).
