Anaheim Ducks News

Dostal will start vs. Montreal on Friday.

Dostal had the night off in Anaheim's previous game, following a poor outing where he allowed five goals on 26 shots (.808 SV%) in a 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, and hopes to rebound on Friday against the Montreal Canadiens. Before his recent blip, the 25-year-old Czech goalie was on a tremendous run, posting a stellar 2.35 GAA and .917 SV% while winning 11 of 12 games (11-1-0). The Ducks enter Friday's contest as slight -103 home underdogs against a Canadiens team that has lost two of their last three games (1-1-1).

Greer is a healthy scratch for Thursday's game in Columbus.

Given it's the final game before the NHL's trade deadline, there is plenty of speculation that sitting Greer tonight may be due to roster management purposes, but the Panthers have not confirmed that to be the case. Greer has appeared in 61 games this season, tallying 11 goals and 11 assists.

Husso will start against the Islanders on Wednesday.

The Ducks will unsurprisingly turn to their backup netminder Husso for the tail-end of their back-to-back on Wednesday. Husso's last start came way back on January 26th when he was tagged for five goals on 30 shots in a 7-4 loss in Edmonton. The 30-year-old goaltender has made 11 starts for the Ducks this season, logging a 6-5-1 record and an .882 SV%. Husso and The Ducks enter action on Wednesday at -105 on the money line.

The 25-year-old Czech goalie improved to 11-1-0 in his last 12 games, posting a solid 2.35 GAA and .917 SV%. Terry (upper-body) will not play against the Jets on Friday.

Terry recorded an assist in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Edmonton Oilers, but was limited to only 13:52 time-on-ice, due to an upper-body injury and will miss Friday's game against the Winnipeg Jets. The 28-year-old Terry has battled a string of injuries this season, but has been extremely productive when healthy, scoring 45 points (13G / 32A) in 46 games.

Vatrano (personal) will be a game-time decision vs. Winnipeg on Friday.

Vatrano has not played since the end of December, but could return to the lineup on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 31-year-old Vatrano has scored over 20 goals in each of his past three seasons, but has struggled to produce in 2025-26, with only six points (3G / 3A) through 38 games.

The 28-year-old Terry has battled a string of injuries this season, but has been extremely productive when healthy, scoring 45 points (13G / 32A) in 46 games.

Troy Terry
Carlsson (lower-body) will return vs. Edmonton on Wednesday.

Carlsson has not played since January 10th but will return to Anaheim's lineup on Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers. The 21-year-old Swedish forward is having an excellent season with 44 points (18G / 26A) in 44 games, but his production had declined in the weeks leading up to his injury, with only 3 points (1G / 2A) in his last 11 games.

Leo Carlsson
Granlund (upper-body) is out vs. Edmonton.

Granlund exited Finland's Bronze Medal victory over Slovakia late in the third period due to an upper-body injury and will be sidelined as Anaheim returns to action on Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers. The 33-year-old Granlund has had an up-and-down first season with Anaheim, but was productive heading into the Olympic break, with seven points (3G / 4A) in his last six games.
