Trouba was given some rest the other night but will draw back in tonight vs. the Flames. Trouba has two assists in his last two games since returning from a five-game absence and has totalled 24 points (3G / 21A) in 54 games this season.



Gibson suffered an upper-body injury against the Avalanche and is not expected to be available against Minnesota on Wednesday. Reto Berra has been recalled and is expected to backup Ryan Miller. There’s no word on whether or not Gibson will be available for the weekend’s final two games.


Trouba has missed the last five games but will be back in tonight in Toronto. Trouba has had a hard time with injuries this season, but has collected three goals and 19 assists (22 points) in 52 games.

Vatrano is dinged up so he will come out of the lineup this afternoon. This is a tough break for Vatrano, who will miss an opportunity to face his former team in Boston. The injury is believed to be minor so look for him to be back in on Monday.





Johnston was a healthy scratch on Thursday but will replace Chris Wagner tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Johnston has picked up just six points (3G / 3A) in 17 games this season.

He has a tough matchup in Winnipeg, but Gibson is 11-7-3 with a 2.28 GAA and .928 SV% on the road this year.

Trouba is being re-evaluated for a concussion and is not going to be in the Jets lineup vs. the Kings on Tuesday. This is a terrible break for the Jets and Trouba owners, who just recently got the start defeseman back in the lineup last week. Joe Morrow will replace Trouba in the lineup tonight.

Johnston missed Sunday’s game vs. the Hurricanes with an undisclosed injury but will replace Cal Clutterbuck (undisclosed) tonight vs. the Penguins. Johnston has picked up three goals and three assists (six points) in 16 games with the Islanders this season.
