Rask was pulled after he allowed three goals on 15 shots in the Bruins’ loss to the Islanders on Monday. Rask has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.56 GAA and .888 SV% in his first seven starts of January. Tonight he will make his second start of the season vs. the Red Wings—he stopped all 24 shots that he faced in a 1-0 shutout win in the first meeting.

Korpisalo has been recalled to serve as Anton Forsberg’s backup tonight in Carolina. Sergei Bobrovsky is sick, but should be ready to go for Friday, so expect Korpisalo to go back down after tonight’s game.

Lindholm has scored two goals with two assists in his last three games, but if he can’t go vs. the Devils tonight, Andrej Nestrasil will remain on a line with Jordan Staal.
