Rask stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Bruins 3-0 win over the Rangers on Thursday. That marks four straight victories for Rask, while posting a 1.49 GAA and .928 SV%. He draws a great matchup tonight vs. a Blue Jackets team playing their second game in as many nights and without Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Bruins will keep David Pastrnak past the nine-game mark.

Pastrnak appeared in his ninth game last night, and the Bruins announced that he will be sticking with the team, burning the first year of his entry-level contract. He has recorded four goals, one assist and a plus-6 rating in nine games. He is the type of game-breaking offensive talent the Bruins needed.

David Pastrnak
Johnson (lower-body) returned to the lineup on Thursday.

Johnson skated in the morning with a no-contact jersey and coach Jon Cooper said he thinks Johnson would be back before the All Star break. He never formally ruled him out, but all signs pointed towards him not playing. To no one’s surprise, Johnson recorded two assists, giving him four goals and seven assists (11 points) in his last seven games.

Johnson (lower-body) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Bruins.

Johnson suffered a lower-body injury in the Lightning’s blowout 7-3 loss to the Flyers last night. “There’s a good chance” he doesn’t play said head coach Jon Cooper said about the team’s leading scorer last night. Without a game day skate, we likely won’t know Johnson’s status until a few hours prior to puck-drop.
