Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Bruins win over the Red Wings on Monday. He has won three of his last four and enters play tonight at 4-4-2 with 3.00 GAA and .898 SV% in December. He has gone 1-1-0 in his fist two starts against the Leafs.

Rask starts vs. the Red Wings.

Rask allowed three goals on 15 shots after replacing Niklas Svedberg in Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jackets. Neither net minder was good in this one as a tough December continues for the Bruins. Rask is 3-4-2 with a 3.10 GAA and .895 SV% this month and tonight he will face a Red Wings team who always plays the Bruins tough in the regular season.

Bergeron (undisclosed) did not take part in the Bruins morning skate.

The Bruins called Bergeron day-to-day on Sunday, so his status for tonight’s game was unclear. Not being on the ice this morning does not bode well for Bergeron being available tonight vs. the Red Wings. We will get an update following the skate.

Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Bruins 2-1 loss to the Jets on Friday. It was Rask’s fourth straight loss and sixth in his last seven games. Over that seven games stretch (1-4-2), Rask has posted a 2.96 GAA and .903 SV%. However, he should have no trouble getting back on track and back in the win column tonight with the Sabres in town. He is a must-start.

Rask allowed two gaols on 40 shots in Tuesday’s shootout loss to the Predators. This might be one of the toughest stretches Rask has faced in his career. He has gone 1-3-2 with a 3.11 GAA and .900 SV% in six starts in December. The good news is, he should get some goal support tonight against a Jets team with a depleted blue line.

Johnson did not practice on Thursday because of an illness.

Teammate Radko Gudas missed three games with an illness, so there is a chance that Johnson may have caught that bug. His status for Friday’s game is unknown. Monitor Johnson’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Krejci (lower-body) is on the ice for warmups; he is expected to play tonight vs. the Wild.

Krejci has been sidelined with a lower-body injury since November 18th, but will return to the Bruins lineup tonight. The injury continued to linger and held the playmaking centre out longer than expected, but he should provide a big offensive spark for the B’s. He has 10 points (3G / 7A) in 11 games this season.
