With Andrei Vasilevskiy struggling in his absence, it’s not surprising to see Bishop go again tonight, especially because of the extra rest due to yesterday’s afternoon game.

Ennis has missed the last 30 games after undergoing groin surgery on November 10th. Ennis skated on the Sabres’ top line with Ryan O’Reilly and Kyle Okposo in Sunday’s practice and also played on the second power play unit as well. Ennis has one goal and one assist in 12 games earlier this season.

Kristers Gudlevskis has been recalled to serve as Vasilevskiy’s backup on Thursday.

The 28-year old has gone 4-4-2 with a 2.77 GAA and .904 SV% in his first 12 appearances with the Panthers. He will take on a Bruins team that has lost six of their last eight games.
Bishop left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return. He was hurt when he extended his right leg to make a save on what appeared to be an otherwise harmless play. Andrei Vasilevskiy will replace Ben Bishop as the Lightning’s starter until Bishop is available.
