Grzelcyk has been out since February 10th but is execute to play Wednesday vs. Washington. Grzelcyk, who has three assists in six games this season, will be paired with Brandon Carlo at 5v5 and return to the top power-play unit.

Grzelcyk (lower-body) will not play on Friday but is a possibility for Sunday.
Grzelcyk has been out since February 10th but is on the current road trip and head coach Bruce Cassidy said that he could be back on Sunday. With Grzelcyk still out on Friday, Urho Vaakanien, Jakub Zboril and John Moore will remain in the lineup but a decision will need to be made on Sunday.

Zucker took an awkward spill on Tuesday and had to be helped off of the ice. Head coach Mike Sullivan announced that he’ll be out “longer-term” so look for Zach Aston-Reese to move onto Evgeni Malkin’s wing on Thursday.

Gilbert underwent facial surgery and will miss 4-to-6 weeks.
Gilbert was hurt in a fight with Keegan Kolesar last Tuesday and will miss at least one month after undergoing surgery. Gilbert was moved to injured reserve.

Grzelcyk (lower-body) will miss at least the next two games.
Grzelcyk will miss his fourth straight game on Thursday and will not travel with the team to Lake Tahoe, ruling him out of Sunday's game vs. the Flyers.
Dahlin was activated from the COVID-19 list and is expected to play on Monday.
Dahlin was back on the ice for Sunday's practice and is expected to play Monday vs. the Islanders. Dahlin being activated is huge for the Sabres' blueline, who could be without Jake McCabe, Brandon Montour and Rasmus Ristolainen, who all remain on the list.
Grzelcyk (lower-body) is doubtful for Friday.
Grzelcyk suffered a lower-body injury in Wednesday's overtime win over the Rangers and is unlikely to play on Friday. Grzelcyk has had a very difficult time staying healthy this season, having missed six of the first 12 games.
