Bishop starts in goal for the Lightning on Thursday.

Bishop allowed three goals on 25 shots in a 7-3 win over the Coyotes Tuesday. Bishop has yet to allow more than three goals in a start this season, so he carries a 2.31 GAA and .913 SV% into Thursday night. Bishop was able to coast to a win vs. Arizona, but it may not be so easy against a Flyers team that is starting to heat up.

Bishop will be in goal for the Lightning on Tuesday.

Bishop allowed three goals on 14 shots after replacing Evgeni Nabokov in Saturday's blowout loss to the Wild. It was a rough night for the entire team but it was only the second time this season Bishop has allowed more than two goals, so expect him to get back on track tonight vs. the Coyotes.

No surprise, Bishop starts in net for the Lightning.

Bishop allowed three goals on 23 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Oilers on Monday. He took a seat in the second game of the back-to-back, but will be back in the crease tonight in Winnipeg. Bishop is 3-1-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .921 SV%. He is a must-start tonight.

Reimer is expected to get the call on Wednesday for Toronto.

Reimer allowed four goals on 35 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Red Wings last Thursday. Toronto did not have their best effort on Friday and it resulted in Reimer's worst outing of the year. Tonight he is expected to get the call against a Senators team he has been really good against in his career (9-2-1 with a .944 SV%)

James Reimer
Sheahan has been bumped up to the Red Wings' top power-play unit.

Sheahan had been playing on the Red Wings second power-play unit, but he will switch spots with Darren Helm as the net-front presence on the Wings top-unit. Sheahan has just one assist through five games, but this move should help him pick up some power-play points in the short-term.

Bishop will start vs. the Oilers on Monday.

Bishop stopped 30 of 32 shots in Saturday's win in Vancouver. The win moved Bishop to 3-0-1 with a 1.71 GAA and .933 SV% in his first four starts. It has been a nice start to the year for last year's breakout star. He is a must-start in Edmonton tonight.

Bishop will start for the Lightning.

Bishop allowed one goal on 17 shots in a win over the Canadiens on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, so it is no surprise to see him back in the crease tonight in Vancouver. He is 2-0-1 with a 1.61 GAA and .931 SV% in his first three starts this season, get him in your lineup.

Reimer makes his third consecutive start in goal on Friday.

Reimer stopped 22 of 24 shots for the 3-2 OT win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. Reimer has won back-to-back games while posting a 2.24 GAA and .920 SV% so he will start at home tonight in the first game of the home-and-home series with Detroit. He was 0-1-0 with a 4.63 GAA and .860 SV% in two outings vs. the Red Wings last year.

Reimer will likely start in goal Friday vs. Detroit.

It was originally expected that Jonathan Bernier would go tonight in Toronto and then Reimer tomorrow in Detroit, but it appears it will be the other way around. Reimer has won back-to-back games while allowing four goals on 50 shots (.920 SV%), so it looks like Toronto will reward him with a third straight start. He was 0-1-0 with a 4.63 GAA and .860 SV% in two outings vs. Detroit last year.

Reimer will make his second straight start on Tuesday.

Reimer was awarded the win despite leaving Sunday's game early after a collision with Dominic Moore. He stopped 24 of 26 shots in the Leafs 6-3 win over the Rangers. Head coach Randy Carlyle will stick with the hot-hand and give Reimer another start tonight in Colorado. The Avalanche are 1-2 and have struggled to score goals early on this year.

Bishop will start in goal vs. the Canadiens.

Bishop allowed two goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Senators on Saturday. The loss moved Bishop to 1-0-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .927 SV% through two starts. It is a good start to the season for the 27-year-old. Tonight he gets the call against the Canadiens, who he was 3-0-1 with a 0.94 GAA and .962 SV% against last season.

Ben Bishop
Reimer (head) left Sunday's game and will not return.

Reimer's first start of the season ended early after suffering a head/neck injury in an incidental collision with Rangers' forward Dominic Moore. Reimer had a nice evening going, having stopped 24 of 26 shots, but given his history of neck injuries, the Maple Leafs elected to pull him from the game as a precaution. He left with a 6-2 lead intact.

James Reimer
Reimer leads the Maple Leafs onto the ice for warmups; he starts.

Reimer had a rough year in 2013-14, he went 12-16-1 with a 3.29 GAA and .911 SV% and took a clear backseat to Jonathan Bernier. Tonight, he will look to get the Maple Leafs into the win column. Bernier has allowed nine goals on 64 shots (.877 SV%) so a good start from Reimer could earn him some more playing time early in the season.

Bishop will start vs. the Senators.

Bishop stopped 19 of 21 shots and assisted on the game-winning goal in the Lightning's 3-2 OT win over the Panthers on Thursday. Bishop picked up right where he left off last season and should make for a great start against his former team (Ottawa) tonight on home-ice.

Ben Bishop
Bishop will start in goal for the Lightning.

Bishop had a sensational season in 2013-14. He won 37 games with a 2.23 GAA, .924 SV% and five shutouts. He was injured prior to the playoffs and underwent wrist surgery in April, but is at 100% to start 2014-15 and should be in for another excellent season. The Lightning have a ton of firepower, so the 6-foot-7 netminder should have plenty of goal support.

Ben Bishop
The Lightning have signed Ben Bishop to a two-year contract extension worth $11.9 million.

Bishop, 27, went 37-14-7 with a 2.23 GAA (7th in the NHL) and .924 SV% (6th) with the Lightning last season. It was by far his best season of his five-year career. He underwent wrist surgery in April, but he should be ready for the start of the 2014-15 season. He is just outside the group of elite goaltenders, but should still be a top-30 pick in September.
