James Reimer makes his first start since December 21 tonight in Carolina.

Reimer allowed two goals on 18 shots in a relief effort of Jonathan Bernier in Saturday's 7-1 loss to the Rangers. It his last start, he was pulled after allowed three goals on 12 shots in the first period vs. the Red Wings. Bernier had an ugly night on Tuesday, so Reimer returns to the crease vs. a Hurricanes team who have won four straight and are just two points behind the Leafs in the standings.

Bishop left Sunday's contest with an apparent hand injury and did not return.

There is no word on the nature or severity of the injury and the Lightning are expected to update his status in the afternoon following x-rays. It would be a terrible loss for the Lightning if Bishop were to miss an extended period of time. Stay tuned.

Bishop stopped all 19 shots that he faced to record his fourth shutout of the season in Friday's 2-0 win over the Flames. It was his 22nd win of the year and seventh in his last eight starts. The Lightning continue their western Canada road-trip as they take on the Oilers tonight. Bishop stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 4-2 win over Edmonton in November, he is a must-start unless your goalies numbers are wrapped up.

Bishop allowed two goals on 30 shots in a 4-2 win over the Canucks on January 1. Despite posting a fantastic 21-5-3 record with a 1.89 GAA and .935 SV%, Bishop was snubbed from Team U.S.A. He has developed into an elite fantasy goalie option this season and is definitely a must-start against the Flames tonight. He is 9-3-2 on the road.

Bishop stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 6-1 win over the Panthers on Monday. The win was Bishop's 20th of the season and his fifth consecutive. Bishop will be upset to see December end, he is 6-1-1 with a 1.58 GAA and .944 SV% this month. The first time he faced the Habs he stopped 28 of 29 in a 2-1 shootout win.

Bishop gave up two goals on 27 shots in a win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. He has won four straight and five of his last six. Bishop has been quite the surprise in the first half of the season. He has started his first season with the Lightning 19-52 with a 1.96 GAA and .934 SV%.

After an ugly start against the Panthers two days earlier, Reimer bounced back in a strong way vs. the Coyotes. With Bernier banged up, Reimer should take on the Red Wings at home tonight. He is 5-3-0 with a 2.59 GAA and .927 SV% at the ACC.

Bishop stopped all 28 shots the Red Wings threw his way in a 3-0 win on Sunday. It was his NHL leading third shutout of the season and 17th win, which is tied for second. He has a good matchup tonight when the Lightning travel to Long Island to take on the Islanders.
