Wolf is in the starter's crease at Calgary's morning skate.

After a horrendous 2-9-2 start to the season, the Flames have played reasonably well, going 16-11-2, and miraculously find themselves only five points shy of a playoff spot midway through the season. Wolf's performance has also seen an uptick during that time, posting a 2.45 GAA and .908 SV% in 22 games (12-8-1). That said, the 24-year-old sophomore goalie has allowed four goals in two straight (0-2-0) and hopes to rebound on Wednesday when the Flames visit a Montreal Canadiens team with points in eight of their last nine games (6-1-2). Montreal enters the game as a +131 road underdog.

Parekh has been recalled to Calgary after being loaned to Canada's National Junior Team.

Parekh started the season in the NHL but struggled to acclimate before an injury sidelined him for a lengthy period. He was then sent to play for Team Canada at the U-20 World Junior Championship, where he excelled with 13 points (5G / 8A) in seven games. The Flames hope his bronze-medal success can give the 19-year-old some confidence at the NHL level.

Strome will be a healthy scratch vs. Tampa Bay on Wednesday.

Ross Johnston will draw back into Anaheim's lineup on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, sending Strome to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 32-year-old Strome has been a healthy scratch several times and has seemingly fallen out of favor in Anaheim, averaging a career-low 11:51 time-on-ice and scoring only six points (2G / 4A) in 21 games.
