Brzustewicz is expected to draw back into Calgary's lineup in New Jersey on Thursday.

Zayne Parekh will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils, allowing Brzutewicz to re-enter the lineup. The 21-year-old Brzustewicz has not played a game for Calgary since late January. He has two points (1G / 1A) in 18 games.

Wolf is in the starter's crease at Calgary's morning skate.

Wolf has allowed four goals in each of his past three outings (0-3-0) and will look to redeem himself on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils. The 24-year-old Wolf has a 3.15 GAA and .898 SV% in six games since the beginning of February (.898 SV%). The Flames enter the action Thursday as +167 road underdogs against a Devils team that has been trending upward recently, going 4-1-0 in their last five games.

Wolf will start in New York on Tuesday.

Wolf has not been able to live up to the high standards he set as a rookie in the 2024-25 season, when he finished as the runner-up for the Calder Trophy. His struggles have been epitomized by his last two starts (1-1-0), during which he allowed eight goals on 46 combined shots (.826 SV%). The 24-year-old Wolf has a concerning sub- .900 SV% in nine of his last 14 outings (4-9-1). The Flames enter the action on Tuesday as +112 road underdogs against a New York Rangers team that played last night and won 6-2 over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Whitecloud (upper-body) did not travel with Calgary but has a chance to join their 5-game road trip.

Whitecloud has been a pleasant addition to Calgary's blueline since being acquired via trade, but he will miss some time, starting with Monday's game against the Washington Capitals. The 29-year-old defenseman is averaging a career-high 22:03 time-on-ice and has four assists in 14 games with the Flames.

Olofsson will make his Flames' debut on Monday vs. Washington.

Calgary acquired Victor Olofsson, Max Curran, a 2028 1st round pick, and a conditional 2nd round pick from Colorado for Nazem Kadri (20% retained) and a 2027 4th round pick ahead of the NHL trade deadline on Friday. The 30-year-old Olofsson will make his Flames' debut on Monday against the Washington Capitals, replacing John Beecher. Olofsson averaged 13:20 time-on-ice and had 25 points (11G / 14A) in 60 games with Colorado this season.

Beecher will be a healthy scratch in Washington on Monday.

Victor Olofsson will make his Flames' debut on Monday against the Washington Capitals, resulting in Beecher being a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Beecher is averaging 10:08 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A) in 30 games this season.

John Beecher
Pospisil will be a healthy scratch in Washington on Monday.

Matvei Gridin will draw back into the Flames' lineup on Monday against the Washington Capitals, sending Pospisil to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old Slovak, Pospisil, is averaging 10:34 time-on-ice, recording 34 hits and two points (1G / 1A) in 11 games this season.

Martin Pospisil
Cooley will start in Washington on Monday.

One of the downfalls of playing for the Calgary Flames, the NHL's lowest-scoring team (2.50 GF / GP), is that Devin Cooley's modest 7-7-4 record does not do justice to how impressive he has been between the pipes this season. The 28-year-old Cooley is coming off another excellent outing, albeit another loss, 4-1 to the Ottawa Senators, but he saved 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) in the process. Amazingly, Cooley leads all goalies this season in save percentage (.923 SV%) and quality starts (.833). Still, the Flames enter Monday's contest as +175 road underdogs against a Washington Capitals team on a three-game losing streak (0-3-0).

Gridin will draw back into Calgary's lineup in Washington on Monday.

Gridin returns from playing one game in the AHL with the Wranglers, and will draw back into the Flames' lineup on Monday against the Washington Capitals. The 20-year-old Gridin is averaging 14:18 time-on-ice and has seven points (3G / 4A) in 18 games with the Flames this season. Martin Pospisil will exit the lineup as a healthy scratch.
