Wolf will start vs. Boston on Tuesday.

Wolf was phenomenal in his last outing, saving all 32 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over the Florida Panthers. The 23-year-old Wolf remains a quality candidate for the Calder trophy, posting a solid 2.65 GAA and .915 SV% in 15 games this season (9-5-1). The Flames enter Tuesday's contest as +116 road underdogs against a Boston Bruins club coming off an impressive 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Calgary has signed Brayden Pachal to a two-year, 2.375 million contract ($1,187,500 AAV).

Pachal is averaging 14:31 time-on-ice, recording two points (1G / 1A), 27 penalty minutes, 34 blocks, and 72 hits in 31 games this season, earning himself a two-year contract extension. The 25-year-old defenseman has 11 points (3G / 8A) in 93 career NHL games.

Cooley has been recalled from the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) on an emergency basis.

With Dan Vladar (lower body) day-to-day, the Flames have recalled Cooley from the Calgary Wranglers (AHL). That said, if Vladar misses any time, Dustin Wolf will likely see all the action between the pipes for the Flames. The 27-year-old Cooley has a 1.80 GAA and .942 SV% in 18 games (14-3-0) with the Wranglers.

Lomberg (personal) is expected to return to Calgary's lineup vs. Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Lomberg has not played the last two games due to personal reasons but will likely draw back into the lineup on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 30-year-old Lomberg is averaging 9:07 time-on-ice, recording three points (0G / 3A), 22 penalty minutes, and 49 hits in 27 games this season.

Ilya Nikolaev has been released from his contract with the Calgary Flames.

Nikolaev was the third-round pick, 88th overall, of the Calgary Flames in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old has never played an NHL game and scored four points (0G / 4A) in nine games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) this season.

Wolf has been excellent this season, continuing his case for the Calder Trophy, and will return to the crease for the fourth time in the last five games for the Flames. The 23-year-old Wolf has a tremendous 2.33 GAA and .926 SV% in 11 games this season (8-2-1), highlighted by an exquisite .966 SV% in his last four outings (4-0-0). That said, the Flames enter Monday's contest as +138 road underdogs against an Ottawa Senators club amid a five-game losing skid (0-4-1).

Wolf has been tremendous between the pipes lately and will return to the crease for a third straight game on Thursday against the New York Rangers. The 23-year-old Wolf is making a case at the Calder Trophy, posting a 2.36 GAA and .925 SV% in 10 games (7-2-1). He has been near perfect during a three-game winning streak, saving 85 of 87 shots (.977 SV%). The Flames enter Thursday's contest as +133 home underdogs against a Rangers club riding a three-game winning streak.
