Smith was a healthy scratch for the Panthers' previous contest but will draw back into the lineup Monday as they take on Anaheim. The 24-year-old has a goal, three assists, 24 SOG, 47 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 23 games this season mixed between Florida and Detroit. He will replace Chris Tierney in the Panthers' lineup.

He takes on the Washington Capitals, who snapped a two-game winning streak with a 4-1 loss to San Jose in their last game.
