Andersen played very well in Game 1 but allowed one soft goal and it was enough to cement the victory for Columbus. Overall, he stopped 33 of 34 shots in the loss but it was a good sign for Andersen, who has yet to win playoff series in his Maple Leafs career.

Fast was hurt on his first shift of the series while absorbing a hit from Hurricanes defenseman and former teammate Brady Skjei. Fast never returned to Game 1 and will not be available for Game 2. Look for Steven Fogarty to take his place in the lineup but for Kaapo Kakko to move up into the top-6 with Artemi Panarin and Ryan Strome.

Miller was the No.22 overall pic in 2018 and wrapped up his second season at the University of Wisconsin with 18 points (7G / 11A) in 36 games. He started the college season on team suspension, which the Wisconsin State Journal reported was because of academic woes, and he had a disappointing showing in the World Junior Championships, where he had two assists in five games. He'll likely report to Hartford (AHL) if the NHL season resumes or for the start of the 2021 season.

Andersen stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Maple Leafs shootout loss in Anaheim last Thursday. The Maple Leafs used their California road-trip to get Andersen some rest, giving him just one start in the last nine days. Tonight he returns to the crease to face the Lightning for the third time this season--he's given up 10 goals on 57 shots (.825 SV%) in the first two meetings of 2020.

Despite Philippe Myers being listed as a game-time decision, Gostisbehere said that he'll play tonight vs. the Bruins. It will be Gostisbehere's first NHL game since February 6th and he comes back in with 12 points (5G / 7A) in 41 games this season.
