Brossoit will start his first NHL game on Thursday.

Brossoit, 22, had a tough time in a brief AHL stint last season, but came into 2014-15 much stronger. He went 22-21-4 with a 2.65 GAA and .916 SV% in 49 games with Oklahoma City, which prompted the Oilers to recall him and let him make his NHL debut in a meaningless game against the Sharks.

Teravainen is expected to be back in the Blackhawks lineup on Sunday.

Teravainen was a healthy scratch on Friday, but head coach Joel Quenneville wants to shake his lineup up on Sunday, which means Teravainen in and Bryan Bickell likely out. Teravainen was centring the second line with Antoine Vermette and Brandon Saad as well as playing on the Hawks second power-play unit.
