Bjork left Tuesday’s game after being cross-checked in the arm/shoulder by Francois Beauchemin. Post-game head coach Bruce Cassidy said that he’ll miss some time but the Bruins were unsure of a timetable for his return. Peter Cehlarik was recalled to take Bjork’s spot on the roster.

Khudobin allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Bruins win in Brooklyn on January 18th. Khudobin has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .929 SV% in his last three starts. Tonight he makes his eighth appearance on home-ice—he is 4-1-2 with a 2.83 GAA and .904 SV% in the first seven.


Khudobin allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Bruins loss to the Stars on Monday. In his last four starts, Khudobin has gone 2-0-2 while stopping 123 of 130 shots (.946 SV%). He has a tough matchup against an Islanders team that comes into play ranked second in the NHL in scoring (3.39 GF/PG).

Shaw missed practice on Sunday and will miss at least 7-10 days with a lower-body injury. It sounds like he could be sidelined for longer and the Canadiens have claimed Logan Shaw from Anaheim to take his roster spot for the time being.

Khudobin allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Hurricanes on January 6th. In his last three starts, Khudobin has gone 2-0-1 while stopping 94 of 98 shots (.959 SV%). The Stars come to town this afternoon averaging 2.95 goals for per game (13th in the NHL) and Khudobin has gone 4-1-1 with a 2.82 GAA and .904 SV% at TD Garden.



Khudobin allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Bruins loss in Washington on December 28th. With Tuukka Rask playing so well Khudobin’s playing time has been limited. Tonight he faces the Hurricanes, who have won eight of their last 11 games (8-2-1) and Khudobin has gone 3-1-1 with a 3.18 GAA and .893 SV% on home-ice this season.

Bjork had a nice start to the season, but has just 12 points (4G / 8A) through 28 games so he will head to Providence to work on his craft. He has never appeared in an AHL game after going straight from the University of Notre Dame to the NHL this fall.



Dickinson was recalled from Texas (AHL) at the end of last week and will play tonight vs. Columbus. The 22-year-old has yet to pick up a point in five NHL games, but has 13 goals and three assists in 24 games games with Texas. Dickinson will play with Remi Elie out with an illness.


After a hot start to the season, picking up seven points (3G / 4A) in his first nine games, Bjork has recorded just one goal and four assists (five points) in his last 19 games. He will sit tonight with David Krejci (lower-body) back in the lineup.

Khudobin stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Bruins shutout win in Buffalo on December 19th. Tuukka Rask started five of the last six games but Khudobin will get the nod tonight in Washington. He allowed four goals on 21 shots in a 5-3 loss in his first start vs. the Capitals but has gone 5-1-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .943 SV% in eight road appearances this season.

Weber was sent home from their previous road-trip, missing the last three games and will miss at least three more with a foot injury. With both Weber and David Schlemko (illness) out, the Canadiens have recalled Brett Lernout from Laval (AHL) to go on the trip.

Khudobin allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Bruins’ loss to the Capitals last Thursday. With Tuukka Rask starting last night, Khudobin is expected to go tonight in Buffalo. Khudobin had a nice stretch but has now allowed at least three goals in three straight games while posting an .800 SV%.
