The Blue Jackets have recalled T.J. Tynan from Cleveland (AHL).

Tynan, 25, was a third round pick (No.66 overall) in 2011 and he is expected to make his NHL debut on Monday. Tynan was recalled because Josh Anderson is out with a knee injury. He has registered seven goals and 23 assists (30 points) in 55 games with Cleveland this season.

Helm (shoulder) will return to the Red Wings lineup vs. the Sabres.

Helm has missed the last 27 games with a dislocated shoulder, but will draw into the lineup for Drew Miller on Friday. Before Helm got hurt, he had built a lot of chemistry with Thomas Vanek and Gustav Nyquist, but will not play with them tonight. He has four goals and three assists (seven points) in 17 games this season.

Helm (shoulder) is expected to return to the Red Wings’ lineup this weekend.

Helm has missed the last 27 games with a dislocated shoulder, but it looks like he’ll only miss one or two more games before returning to the lineup either Friday or Sunday. The Red Wings are playing their best hockey of the season right now, so Helm’s return will be a huge boost to their lineup. He has seven points (4G / 3A) in 17 games this season.

Parise (illness) will be back in the Wild lineup on Tuesday.

Parise missed the last two gams with strep throat, but will play tonight in Nashville. Parise has had a surprisingly poor first three months, collecting just five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 24 games. He will be back on a line with Eric Staal and Charlie Coyle vs. the Predators.

The Sharks signed Brent Burns to a eight-year deal worth $64 million ($8.0M AAV).

Burns is a special player and that forced the Sharks to sign him to the longest contract in franchise history. Burns will be 32 in March, so he will be 40-year-old in the final year of his contract, which isn’t ideal, but was necessary to get him signed. After a historic 2015-16 season, Burns has picked up 16 points (7G / 9A) in 19 games, to put him on pace for a career-high 30 goals and 38 assists (68 points)
