Kadri was listed as a game-time decision, but he is on the ice for warmups, so it looks like he will play. He has missed the last two games, but should return tonight on the top line with Phil Kessel and Daniel Winnik in the first game under new head coach Peter Horachek.
Kadri took line rushes on the Maple Leafs top-line in today’s morning skate and interim head coach Peter Horachek says he is hopeful that he will have Kadri in the lineup tonight. Monitor his status during warmups.
Kadri is on the ice for the second straight day and is taking line rushes on the top-line with Phil Kessel and Daniel Winnik. Kadri has missed the last two games, but it appears as if he will return ahead of schedule and get back in tonight vs. the Capitals. He has 24 points (11G / 13A) in 38 games this season.
Kadri was expected to miss 7-10 days which would have suggested that he would miss tomorrow’s game but his full availability this morning is a good sign he should play. He skated on the second line with Mike Santorelli and Daniel Winnik this morning.
Kadri was held out of last night’s game and won’t play tonight in Winnipeg because of an undisclosed injury. He is likely in danger of missing a third game next Wednesday, but could be back for Friday’s clash with the Blue Jackets.
Kadri has missed practice the last two days and is danger of missing tonight’s game vs. the Maple Leafs. Monitor his status closer to puck-drop.
Nelson has 16 points in 17 games this season.
Manson, 23, was drafted in the sixth round (160th overall) in 2011. The 6-foot-3 blueliner had one assist in seven games with Norfolk before he was called-up. There is no word on who he will replace, but it should be Mark Fistric.

Burns put up good numbers in his first full NHL season as a forward, scoring 48 points in 69 games (22G / 26A). He was, however, a streaky player, at one point going 19 games between goals and adding just two goals and one assist in seven playoff games while playing on Joe Thornton’s wing. “That size, the strength, the shot – you just saw Montreal with a guy that’s a bit of a wild stallion go and make plays,” GM Doug Wilson said, referring to P.K Subban. “Burnzie, to us, is that type of ingredient that we need, so that will be taking place.”
Mackinnon did end up returning to the game so he was probably to play Game 5 today anyways.
MacKinnon's current 12-game point streak broke Wayne Gretzky's record for longest point-streak in NHL history for an 18-year-old. Over the 12-game streak he has five goals and 12 assists (17 points) as he continues to pace all rookies with 51 points (22G / 29A) in 63 games, which is 12 more than second place Tyler Johnson (39).
MacKinnon's return to practice this afternoon suggests that he will be in the lineup on Wednesday vs. Los Angeles. To be safe, Monitor his status following Wednesday's morning skate. In weekly leagues, it appears as if he should be safe to deploy.
Kadri has been moved to the top-line in practice because Tyler Bozak is not on the ice after suffering a lower-body injury versus San Jose on Tuesday. Should Bozak miss an extended period of time, Kadri will likely get a look on the top-line with James van Riemsdyk and Phil Kessel - something that will certainly boost his fantasy value, because he not be great alongside David Clarkson so far.
Kadri is only expected to miss tonight's game but should be back in the lineup on Thursday.
Nelson continues to shuffle in and out of the Islanders lineup. He played 13:41 and was a minus-1 with three shots on goal vs. the Red Wings last night.
Still, the Sharks improved to 8-0-1 this season with Burns in the lineup. Burns has faced the Devils (tonight's opponent) just four times in his career, with one goal and one assist.
Nelson goes from the first line to a healthy scratch in an instant with Thomas Vanek returning from a lower-body injury and Michael Grabner getting back in the lineup. "Brock has played extremely well and the other guys have seen that. You have to make tough decisions," Islanders head coach Jack Capuano said.
Burns has been scratched for the last 13 games, after taking a series of high hits that included a whack in the face from Ottawa goaltender Robyn Lehner on Oct. 12. He had four goals and four assists in his first eight games on a line with Thornton and Tomas Hertl, with seven of his eight points coming at even strength.
Burns returned to the top-line in practice yesterday which is a good sign. The Sharks will hit the ice for their morning skate shortly and we will have an update on Burns' status for tonight following the skate.
