Helm left this afternoon’s game in New Jersey with an upper-body injury and head coach Jeff Blashill expects him to be out for an extended period of time. Helm played just 2:03 TOI before departing the game and his injury will likely lead to someone being called up from the AHL.
Wagner has recorded just one goal and one assist in 17 games this season, but will be replaced by Noel Acciari on the fourth line tonight.
Parise was scratched on Thursday after being listed as a healthy scratch, but will play Saturday vs. the Sabres. Parise, who has 16 points (7G / 9A) in 18 games this season, was back on a line with Mikko Koivu and Nino Niederreiter this morning.
Parise is battling an illness, so his status for Thursday’s game vs. the Canucks is up in the air. Monitor Parise’s status as the Wild hit the ice for warmups at 7:30pm ET.
Manson got dinged up on Sunday and is questionable to play Tuesday vs. the Flyers. The Ducks continue to get banged up and if Manson can’t go tonight, Luke Schenn will draw back into the lineup.
Hudon has not played during the last three games but will return to the lineup in Boston. There’s no word on who Hudon will replace, but he returns with two goals and one assist in six games this season.
Kamenev was scratched on Wednesday but will replace Gabriel Bourque in the lineup on Friday. Kamenev has yet to record a point and has played just 8:47 TOI/GM through five games this season. He will centre the fourth line with Colin Wilson and Tyson Jost on his wings.
Nichushkin has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury, but will return on the Stars fourth line tonight. Nichushkin has just one assist and eight shots on goal in three games so far this season.
Nichushkin will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury. Head coach Jim Montgomery said that Nichushkin is still fighting the injury, but it sounds like he is no more than day-to-day.
It will be Kamenev’s fourth appearance with the Avalanche after being acquired from the Predators last season. The 22-year-old had one assist in two games with Colorado (AHL) before he was called up last week.
Nichushkin took part in the Stars morning skate on Tuesday and is expected to make his season debut tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. The 23-year-old has not played in the NHL since the 2015-16 season, but scored 27 goals and 24 assists (51 points) in 86 KHL games since then.
Landeskog missed Monday’s practice but was on the ice for Tuesday’s morning skate and will play tonight in Columbus. Landeskog has one goal, one assist, a plus-3 rating and two shots on goal in the first two games of the season.
Kamenev did not make the Avalanche out of training camp and headed to the Eagles (AHL) to start the season. The 22-year-old had one assist in two games but has been recalled with Gabriel Landeskog banged up.
Landeskog did not practice on Monday and is questionable to play tomorrow in Columbus. The Avalanche are hopeful that he will be available, but Matt Calvert skated on the Avalanche top line with Landeskog unavailable.
Wagner played 13:10 TOI in the Bruins season debut but was a healthy scratch in their second game. Wagner will be re-inserted for Joakim Nordstrom.
Nichushkin missed the Stars season opener vs.the Coyotes on Thursday and is unlikely to play Saturday against the Jets. The Russian winger is considered day-to-day, so you could see him make his season debut next week.
Wagner was a minus-1 and failed to record a shot in 13:10 TOI during his Bruins debut on Wednesday. The Bruins lost 7-0 so they will make some changes tonight, mainly Anders Bjork replacing Wagner on the fourth line.
