Severson suffered an upper-body injury late in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens and will be sidelined week-to-week. The 31-year-old defenseman scored a goal in the game before his injury, giving him five points (3G / 2A) in his last five games.


Kent Johnson will be a healthy scratch on Thursday, allowing Wood to re-enter the lineup. The 30-year-old Wood has not played in nearly three weeks. He is averaging 12:20 time-on-ice and has 14 points (8G / 6A) in 44 games this season.

Miles Wood will draw into Columbus' lineup on Thursday, resulting in Johnson being a healthy scratch. After a breakout 2024-25 season, with 57 points (24G / 33A) in 68 games, Johnson has had a disappointing 2025-26 season, with only 21 points (7G / 14A) through 68 games. He has three points (1G / 2A) in his last 15 games.

Greaves has been exceptional in the Blue Jackets' late-season push for the playoffs, and will look to continue his winning ways on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 24-year-old Greaves saved 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Since the beginning of March, he's boasted a solid 2.14 GAA and .916 SV% in eight games (6-1-1). The Blue Jackets enter Thursday's contest as slight +101 road underdogs against a Canadiens team that has outscored its opposition 12-5 in its last two games (2-0-0).

Greaves was excellent in his previous game, saving 21 of 22 shots (.955 SV%), but received no goal support, losing 1-0 to the New York Islanders. The strong play is nothing new for the 24-year-old Greaves, who has been tremendous lately, posting a 2.21 GAA and .914 SV% in his last 10 games (7-1-2). The Blue Jackets enter Tuesday's contest as -136 road favourites against a Flyers team they defeated 2-1 in a shootout earlier this month.



Greaves was tremendous in his previous outing, saving 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) in a commanding 5-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The 24-year-old Greaves has been a key contributor in helping Columbus get within reach of a Wild Card spot, posting an impressive 2.29 GAA and .914 SV% in his last 13 appearances (10-0-2). The Blue Jackets enter Thursday's contest as sizeable -216 home favourites against a New York Rangers team that has been outscored 10-4 in their last two games (0-2-0).
