Heinen had a nice run with the Bruins, registering three assists in three games during his call-up. With Patrice Bergeron and David Backes expected to play on Thursday, the Bruins needed to clear some roster spots. Heinen had one assist in one game with Providence before his call-up and he will likely be one of the first forwards brought back from the AHL.

With Coyle expected to miss at least a month and a half, the Wild have placed him on LTIR which opens up a roster spot and gives them some cap relief. This is a huge loss for the Wild as Coyle already had two assists in three games and is coming off of a season in which he recorded 56 points (18G / 38A) in 82 games.

Coyle was hit by a shot in Thursday’s win over the Blackhawks and has already been ruled out for Saturday’s contest. The Wild are extremely banged up up front with Coyle joining Zach Parise, Mikael Granlund, Nino Niederreiter and Marcus Foligno in the press box.

Jarod was a fifth round pick in 2015 and has played just two games in North America after coming over from Sweden. Jaros will likely serve as the Senators’ seventh defenseman on their road-trip.

Severson was a restricted free agent coming off of his entry-level contract and was able to come to terms with the Devils a few days before the start of training camp. Severson owns a big point shot and some sleeper value entering the 2017-18 season, after posting 31 points (3G / 28A) in 80 games a season ago.

Copley was brought over from St. Louis as a part of the Kevin Shattenkirk and went 11-5-0 with a 2.15 GAA and .931 SV% in 16 games with Hershey (AHL) and was 5-4 with a 2.13 GAA and .933 in nine AHL playoff starts. Copley will start the 2017-18 season in Hershey.

Severson was scratched Sunday vs. Columbus, but will draw into the lineup against them tonight. Severson has had a nice offensive season, scoring three goals with 24 assists (27 points) in 64 games.

Wood missed Sunday’s game vs. the Blue Jackets, but will play tonight. Wood has seen an increased role recently and comes into Tuesday with eight goals and seven assists (15 points) in 45 games.

Copley allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Blues’ loss in Winnipeg on Saturday. With Jake Allen ready to return in Minnesota, Copley returns to Chicago, where he has gone 11-4-1 with a 2.32 GAA and .920 SV%.

The North Pole, Alaska native has gone 11-4-1 with a 2.32 GAA and .920 SV% with Chicago (AHL) this season. He has one career NHL appearance—he stopped five of six shots in Nashville on February 27th, 2016.

The Blues’ No.1 Jake Allen has struggled mightily recently, so they will leave him in St. Louis when the Blues depart for Winnipeg for Saturday’s game.
