Dallas has signed Kole Lind to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Fresh off a successful AHL playoffs (15 Pts in 14 GP), Kole Lind has earned himself a one-year, two-way contract to remain with the Dallas Stars. The 26-year-old is entering his eighth full AHL season after putting up 23 goals and 52 points in 71 games with Texas (AHL) in 2024-25. He has appeared in 31 career NHL games as well throughout his career, picking up two goals, eight points and a -3 plus/minus.

Dallas has signed Mavrik Bourque to a one-year, $950,000 contract extension.

Bourque was Dallas' 2020 1st round pick (30th overall) and will remain a Star for at least one more season after the 23-year-old forward signed a one-year, $950,000 contract extension on Friday. He is entering his second full season with Dallas after putting up 11 goals and 25 points in 73 games in his rookie campaign in 2024-25.

Dallas has signed Nils Lundkvist to a one-year, $1.25 million contract extension.

Lundkvist missed the last 35 games of the 2024-25 campaign due to shoulder surgery but has earned himself a one-year, $1.25 million contract extension to remain with the Stars on Friday. The 24-year-old defenseman will enter his fifth NHL season in 2025-26 after putting up five assists, 20 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in 39 games played last season.

Dallas has signed Matt Duchene to a four-year, $18 million contract extension ($4.5 million AAV).

After two incredibly successful seasons in Dallas, Matt Duchene has decided to stay a Star after signing a four-year, $18 million contract extension ($4.5 million AAV) on Thursday. The 34-year-old is coming off a point-per-game campaign, during which he scored 30 goals and 82 points in 82 games played in the 2024-25 season. The veteran forward is entering his 17th NHL season.

Dallas has signed Ben Kraws to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Dallas continued to add to their goaltending depth on Wednesday after signing 24-year-old goaltender Ben Kraws to a one-year, two-way contract extension. The towering 6'5" netminder spent the majority of 2024-25 with the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL) and had a 2.88 GAA and .910 SV% to go along with his 23-12-5 record.

Dallas has signed Remi Poirier to a two-year, two-way contract extension.

Dallas signed their second depth goalie of the day on Tuesday after they extended their AHL starter Remi Poirier, to a two-year, two-way contract. The 23-year-old was originally Dallas' 2020 6th-round pick (185th overall) and spent the 2024-25 season with Texas (AHL), where he put up a 17-11-2 record, .908 SV% and 2.50 GAA.

The Stars have signed Rémi Poirier to a two-year, two-way contract.

Poirier spent the entire season with Texas (AHL), where he went 17-11-2 with a 2.50 GAA and .908 SV% in 31 games. Poirier served as Texas' No.1 netminder in the AHL playoffs, going 5-3 with a 2.19 GAA and .919 SV%. Expect him to start the 2025-26 season in the AHL again.

Oettinger will start Game 5 against the Oilers.

The Stars will of course hand Oettinger the start for a do or die Game 5 against the Oilers on Thursday. Oettinger played well in Game 4 despite being tagged with a third consecutive defeat, stopping 29 of the 31 shots he faced in the 4-1 loss. The 26-year-old netminder has a 9-8-0 record in 17 games this post-season, posting a .908 SV% and a 2.72 GAA. Oettinger and the Stars enter action on Thursday at -130 on the money line.

Oettinger will start Game 3 in Edmonton on Sunday.

Oettinger will take the crease for a 16th consecutive game after allowing three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%) in Dallas' Game 2 loss. The 26-year-old American netminder has been sensational throughout the playoffs, with his 9-6-0 record, .915 SV% and 2.54 GAA. He will be looking to get Dallas back in the win column as they head to Edmonton to take on the Oilers for Game 3 on Sunday.

Jake Oettinger
Hintz (lower-body) was on the ice for warm-ups but is out for Game 3 in Edmonton on Sunday.

Hintz (lower-body) took part in warm-ups but left after a few minutes and will be out for Game 3 in Edmonton on Sunday. The 28-year-old Finnish forward will be replaced by Oskar Back on Dallas' top line and is hopeful to return for Game 4 on Tuesday.

Hintz left Game 2 with a lower-body injury after taking a slash from Darnell Nurse, but was seen walking into the arena without a walking boot and is still a game-time decision. The 28-year-old center has five goals and 11 points in 15 games so far in the playoffs.
