He was excellent in a losing effort against the Flames earlier this season, saving 31 of 33 shots (.939 SV%) in a 3-2 shootout loss. The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -128 road favourites against the Flames.

With a fan, the Stars can set a franchise record with a nine-game winning streak, and will turn to Oettinger to help them get there on Monday against the Vancouver Canucks. The 27-year-old Oettinger was excellent in his previous outing, saving 25 of 27 shots (.926 SV%) in a 3-2 overtime win over the Nashville Predators. That said, it was the first time in five games that he had allowed fewer than three goals. The Stars enter Monday's contest as sizable -198 road favourites against a struggling Canucks team on a five-game losing streak (0-3-2).
