It won’t be easy for him to string wins together with a rough matchup in Chicago tonight. In his first start vs. the Blackhawks he allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 4-2 loss.

It was his first rough outing since being called up, going 4-3-1 with a 1.74 GAA and .934 SV%. With Anton Khudobin now in San Diego (AHL), Gibson is here to stay and he makes for a great start tonight in Buffalo.

Talbot has lost his last four starts while posting a 4.06 GAA and .864 SV%, but a lengthy break could be exactly what Talbot needed.
